About

A soft home, built quietly.

Oak & Rose Home is a soft homemaking brand and digital products studio for women who are running a household alongside everything else — and who would like, just once, to do it more gently.

Hello, I'm Kiana-Marie.

I'm a wife, a mother, and the founder of Oak & Rose Home — a small studio I built from my own kitchen, in the quiet hours between school runs and bedtime stories, for women who are tired of being told their homes should look like a magazine spread before they're allowed to feel at peace inside of them.

Before this, I worked in corporate project management. I have a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Management, and I spent years running large, complicated projects for other people's companies. I loved the strategy. I loved the systems. But the day I came home from the office, looked at my own house, and realized I had no plan for the small daily weather of running a family with the same gentleness I planned other people's business — was the day this brand began, quietly, in the back of my mind.

When I became a stay-at-home mother, I expected the work to soften. It did not. The same overwhelm I had managed at the office showed up at the kitchen counter — only now without the structure, the team, or anyone calling it work.

Oak & Rose Home is what I have been building since then, for me and for you: the gentle systems and beautiful tools I wish I'd had on the first ordinary Tuesday I stayed home.

What this brand is.

Oak & Rose Home is, simply, a soft homemaking studio. We publish slow, literary essays on the work of running a quiet home — and we make printable systems, planners, and digital tools that turn those essays into something you can hold in your hand and actually use.

We are not a productivity brand. We are not a hustle brand. We are not a brand for the woman who wants to optimize her mornings to within an inch of her life. We are for the woman who has tried that and is now looking for a softer way through.

Everything here is built on one quiet conviction:

A peaceful home is built through small rhythms repeated consistently — not through perfect days, complicated systems, or performances of motherhood.

We design editorial printables for soft homemakers.

We share gentle essays on motherhood, intentional living, psychology, and the slow art of making a beautiful home.

We send slow Sunday letters to those who would like company on the long, quiet weekday afternoons.

Who this is for.

If you have ever stood in your own kitchen and felt a wordless desire for everything to just be quiet — the noise, the notifications, the small list of things you are forgetting — you are who I am writing for. You are the soft homemaker. You are doing more than anyone sees. You are running your home alongside everything else, and you would like it to feel gentler.

Maybe you are a stay-at-home mother. Maybe you work outside the house and run the home in your remaining hours. Maybe your children are small, or grown, or not yet here. Maybe you are in a season where the soup is right and the laundry is wrong. Wherever you are — you are welcome.

I write for the woman who wants a calmer, more intentional home, and who would prefer to be met where she is rather than prescribed someone else's morning routine.

How we build.

Oak & Rose Home is built quietly — in early-morning writing hours, in long afternoons with a sleeping baby on my chest, in the small windows of time most of us have to make anything at all. I write everything you read here. I design every printable and write every journal entry.

This is a small studio, on purpose. It will likely stay small. What we make is meant to be useful to a particular woman, not to everyone. If that woman is you, I am grateful you are here.

Where this is going.

In the coming months, Oak & Rose Home will grow into a small library of printable homemaking systems — planners, checklists, seasonal resets, beautiful tools designed for the woman who wants her home to feel like a quiet exhale. The free Soft Homemaking Kit is the beginning. There is more coming.

If you would like to be part of that quietly, you can join the email list below. I do not write often. I do not sell loudly. What arrives is meant to feel like a letter from a friend who also runs a home and a family and a mind full of small daily weather — not a marketing email.

We are at the beginning of something here. Thank you for being in the room.
